Aniplex USA announced today that it will be releasing the Japanese Blu-Ray of Kara no Kyoukai-the Garden of Sinners with English Subtitles. This is apart of Aniplex’s Simultaneous Releases Marketing effort. The Japanese release of The Garden of Sinners happens just a week earlier (Feburary the 2nd of 2011) than the US Release which will be released on Feburary the 8th of 2011. The Blu-Ray is a complete collection of the all the films and contains 8 Blu-ray discs (7 film discs + 1 bonus disc); the Garden of sinners: the Final Chapter: A never-before-seen bonus chapter created exclusively for the Blu-ray collection; the Garden of sinners: Remix – Gate of Seventh Heaven, which is highlighted scenes from each movie with music by the series composer Yuki Kajiura, plus “Retracing All Seven Chapters of the Garden of sinners” which originally aired on TV in Japan. Special Bouses include a Visual Chronicle Book: Staff interviews, ALL key visuals, illustrations from each movie, artwork for DVD packages and the North American release will contain a separate booklet of just English translations of the Japanese text from the Book.
