Spider and I sat in on the MadHouse Panel to discuss the new titles that the studio was currently working on and  it’s no surprise that they have a good lineup coming our way.

HighSchool of the Dead – Featuring hot women, zombies and violence HSotD has everything you could want in an anime. Tetsuro Araki the same director that did Death Note will also be directing this series. Be sure to check out the simulcast on Funimation’s website.

Tatami Galaxy – A College junior  is doomed to go back and repeat his freshmen year following a different path each time. Tatami Galaxy features the unique artistic style of Yūsuke Nakamura. Funimation is going to be releasing the series on DVD and hopefully Blu-ray.

Black Lagoon: Roberta’s Bloodtrail – The first OVA for the Black Lagoon acting as a sort of prequel, giving a more of a back story to the maid Roberta.

Rainbow -Despite it’s name Rainbow is a very dark series about seven boys put in jail trying to straighten out their lives.  However, “fucked up” things keep happening to them and derailing their plans.

Trigun: Badlands Rumble -The highly anticipated Trigun movie is finally coming out! Not only with the staff as the TV series but also featuring more Wolfwood. The movie will introduce several new character and like the Cowboy Bebop movie is supposed to take place sometime during the series.

Tibetan Dog – A first time collaboration between Madhouse and The Chinese government Tibetan Dog is the story of a young boy who is half-Chinese and half-Tibetan trying to deal with the conflict between the two cultures he comes from. He meets a Tibetan dog and through it’s companionship begins to learn how to deal with his struggle. Madhouse founder Maruyama actually travelled to Tibet for this project to learn the culture so that it could be potrayed accurately in the film. It is currently slated to be released next year.

Redline -After a tremendous six year development Redline is slated to be released this October in Japan. Anchorbay has licensed the film in the US but no word yet on a release date. Redline is completely hand drawn and features over 500 characters the most ever for a Madhouse film.

So as you can see Madhouse has some really great things on the way for every anime lover out there. Be sure to keep and eye out for theses titles in the near future. LOVE & PEACE!!!!
